This is a word of encouragement for the people of God. No matter what happens in the world around you, there is “a place of peace and prosperity” reserved for you. It’s a place called “Goshen.”
In the Book of Exodus, when God rained down plagues upon Egypt, there was death, destruction and famine in the land . . . everywhere, but not in Goshen. The word Goshen means “drawing near.” You might ask, “Drawing near to what or to whom?”
The Bible answers. “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.” James 4:8
People of God, it’s time “to solidify” your covenant with God. It’s time to draw near to Him, and His will for your lives. No longer can you hide behind the label of a “Christian.” You must be a “true believer” in Jesus Christ, if you want to overcome what is coming upon the land. In the coming season, the Lord will “make a distinction” between those who know Him and those who don’t; between those who serve God and those who don’t (Malachi 3:18).
“That season of distinction is now,” says God. “For I will show all the world who is for Me and who is against Me. I will show My Mercy and Kindness to those who have truly loved Me, both in word and in deed. For many have said that they love Me. Their words are quite generous, but their hearts are far from Me. I will in this season pour My goodness upon those who have been with Me, standing on My words no matter what happens in this earth. They will walk in the fullness of My Blessing and will become a Blessing to others in this earth. So, draw near to Me, My people, ever so near, nearer than ever before, and I will Show My Mighty Hand against all that comes against You, And the world will know that there is A God in America; that I Am Here in your midst, in this land and in all of the earth. I will prove that My Kingdom rules over all . . . all situations and circumstances that the evil one will attempt to entangle in your lives. Know this, he is a fallen foe, twice defeated by Me, both in the Heaven and in the earth, and under the earth by My Son Jesus Christ.
“Draw near to Me and I will show that he has no power over you, your children, or your children’s children, for you are Blessed and evil cannot reverse it. I will lavish you with such a Blessing that it will astound the world. This is My plan for this hour, to do you good and not evil. So come to Me. Repent before Me and watch My goodness overtake you; My Blessing saturates you in ways you could have never imagined,” says God, Your Father, Your Redeemer and Protector.
“And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there was none like it, nor shall be like it any more. But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast: that ye may know how that The LORD doth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel.” Exodus 11:6-7
